WHY EVEREST?

Climbing Mt.Everest is certainly a transformational experience. Not only for the ones who climbed, but  for many more who can experience it even vicariously.

Everest compresses the experience of a life time into a few weeks. The lessons learned on an expedition  like Everest are profound, and apply to life and work in everyday situations and for anyone who sets out  to be an achiever. While each one experiences his/her own journey of life their way, certain tenets that  emerge from an Everest expedition apply to life, teams and business regardless what challenges we  handle in our own journey.

Our virtual simulation developed in consultation with real life Everester Aditya Gupta is a unique  opportunity to learn from the experience - without risking your life! Being a highly engaging experience,  it leads to precious insights and measurable advantages for individuals, teams and therefore, the  business!

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SIMULATION?

Participants take up specific roles in the simulation to be able to contribute to the team performance. During the simulation they demonstrate a range of skills including communication, collaboration, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, time management and leadership to name a few. In the simulation, team members work together to manage limited resources, adapt to changing conditions, support each other and work cohesively to achieve a common goal.

HOW DOES THE LEARNING HAPPEN ?

The natural behaviors displayed, the successes and failures experienced during the simulation provide ample food for retrospection during the debrief session that follows the simulation. The reflection and action points that emerge out of the rich discussions help the individuals and teams to create concrete action plans to overcome challenges at work more effectively and enhance team performance.
